Born in Toronto, ON, Canada, and raised in Vancouver, BC, I’ve lived most of my life as the quiet kid you’d see sitting in the corner by himself during recess, the kid that got bullied every day despite being the biggest kid in class, introverted and struggling to find his place in the world.
It wasn’t until I began an acting program with my best friend in the 9th grade, that I began to realize my potential. With my first on-stage performance being as a professor who becomes an ape mid-show, I recognized my passion for performance arts. As I continued figuring myself out through high school, I began studying the civil rights era, and took on major inspiration from the methods and passions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. These influences helped me in taking a stand towards helping the less fortunate around the world. I began a non-profit organization with the help of my school’s administrators, through which we raised funds to help students in Africa gain their bachelors degrees in programs ranging from mechanics to nursing to engineering. In addition to this, the organization helped local youth who struggled due to unforeseen or overwhelming circumstances, including one who just recently fulfilled his dream of becoming a pilot, despite challenges that left doctors saying that he would never be able to do it.
Since then, I had been getting involved in as many organizations as possible, until I finally worked up the courage to start my own projects. I am now the founder and Chief Executive Officer of EYSK Industries (and its children companies: EYSK Media, EYSK Development Services, EYSK Childcare Centers), Candor Muslim, and the co-founder of Fit, Fed, and Happy. Every organization exists to help me fulfill my passions and interests, while helping as many people as possible.
In addition to my innovative projects, I also write poetry and sometimes perform spoken word. Finally, I hold an overwhelming passion for helping people accomplish their goals, and for supporting anyone in need in every way I can. To fulfill this passion, I regularly counsel and mentor people of all ages and from all around the world, online and in person, while also speaking at events about the topics of leadership, self-development, and personal growth.
